I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. As I’ve mentioned before, I would also talk about my love for music.  Although I love all types of music, my preference is smooth jazz which is what I often listen to while I’m writing.  I love listening to the instrumentals because there are no lyrics that may interfere with my thought process as I’m writing. I attended a jazz concert this past week at a place called The Birchmere.  The seating was quite intimate.  It’s the type of setting that is cozy where you can eat dinner while listening to live music; making it a nice spot to be on a date. If you love smooth jazz as I do, you will recognize the artist in the picture as Brian Culbertson. All of the musicians were awesome!

Until next time……….

Welcome to my blog. I guess you might be wondering why I call it Dalia's blow-drying chronicles. The story behind the name is that most of my ideas for my storyline and characters come to me as I am blow-drying my hair.

I hope to entertain you with updates about what I am doing as a writer, my love for music and other random things.

I've recently published my debut, Mirrored, which is an intriguing suspense story spiced with some romance. A news reporter finds herself attracted to a handsome homicide detective as she is assigned to her first case working for a small newspaper. She soon discovers that there is as much mystery surrounding the detective as there is in the murder case that she’s is assigned to. The story has some surprising twists that will keep you wanting to find out what happens next.

Mirrored is available in paperback, Kindle, Nook, Smashwords, Kobo, iBooks.
